Jester by Heart - Yoyo by Choice

Jesters are master of trickery, are capable of stalking their target without being noticed then in an instance could easily tears down their enemy. Also Jesters are more like a semi-Blade and semi-Bill Poster, with high critical rates and destructive critical damage and also possessed the 2nd most deadly skill in Roika, the Hit of Penya!


-Pros in PvM
--Got high critical rate for a melee class
--Got a high average of critical damage
--Fast Killer

-Cons in PvM
--Needs to buff every 80 secs
--Double Knockbacks are annoying
--Can't party bosshunt due to bug when jester's knockback lands the same time with Blade's/BJ's knockdown, the monster dissapears

-Pros in PvP
--Hop is deadly
--Vatal Stab has a chance to hit times 2 damage
--Combo is deadly
--Fastwalker and Dark Illusion are very useful for stalking and escaping
--Stun skills has 5 sec effect
--Has the Counter Attack skill
--Pulling is useful as well
--Can kill more than 1 in an instance
--Critical damage is high as well in PvP

-Cons in PvP
--Hard to fight most players with "really high" HP's with high damaging output.



ATTRIBUTE

STRENGTH
This is the very air of a jester, without strength the Yo-yo is rendered useless. This is the source of a Jester's attack rate. The higher the attack rate, the higher the critical damage and the HOP damage as well.

INTELLIGENCE
If you put some INT on your jester, probably you really need it. Lol. Never mind this attribute.

STAMINA
The attribute of survivability! In terms of PvE, this is really needed in terms of grinding and boss hunting. This is also a lifesaver with monster dealing those "Raged" criticals, like in volcane/tower/CW/Boss Hunts. Jesters are not much of a blocker and an evader. Mostly eating up lots of star candies and pills.

DEXTERITY
This is the most important attribute of a jester in order to be a fast killer in terms of PvE. Only with jesters has 10 dexterity is equal to 4% crit rate. Dex is very important for achieving certain attack speed breaks and also attaining additional block rate and hit rate.

-Speedbreak
--15 Dex = 42% aspeed
--27 Dex = 46% aspeed
--59 Dex = 51% aspeed
--92 Dex = 57% aspeed
--125 Dex = 61% aspeed
--159 Dex = 67% aspeed



THE CHOICE

---STR: XXX
----Self Explanatory

---RECOMMENDED DEX: 70-80 MAXIMUM DEX
----Take note, maximum Dex is attained by adding up the base Dex, Accesories, Weapon/Set stats, Awakes & Cannonball Buffs.
----The recommended Dex is majorly for Hit Rate purpose; the idea is lessen the miss and blocks in PvE


---RECOMMENDED STA: 30-50 BASE STA
----The 15 default stats + the allocated stats without buffs
----This will be the surviving factor when engaging Bosses, or doing CW and also enduring damage in PvP
----You can check the base Stats of your character in the character selection screen.


THE HEART

The path of a yo-yo acrobat is hard at the earlier level. About the skills setup, prioritize Yoyo Mastery and Perfect Block, also prioritize in making the deadly swing at level 4 in preparation for Enchant Poison. Then by level 45 the life of an acrobat will speed up. Say hello to Cruiser/Hyper set, get that set at least a +8 set, the hit rate bonus is priceless. With the +40% Adoch from the set will give you a decent boost in damage even though the critical rate is still low.

When already a Jester, the priority buffs at level 60 is Enchant Poison, then at 65 is Critical Swing, at 75 is Hit of Penya and at 80 is the Vatal Stab, have those maxed Asap for PvE and PvP. And also Historic Yo-yo is the priority item to be obtained, if a player can reduce its required level asap, the better.

Then at level 90 surely get a +8 Restra/Rasra set... The +40% adoch is the same with the previous set but the +15% critical rate is highly a plus factor for faster killing. Then you can set-up for Legendary Golden Yo-yo or go for Bloody Yo-yo for more HP in PVP and higher HoP damage.

Just always think that Jesters are either with the same speed or much faster than Bow wielding Jesters. And we are having much fun in the Arena as well.

+ 8 Hyper/Cruiser set (+8 set has +30% hit rate)
Historic Yo-yo (Dex+7, +28% Adoch)
+8 Rasra/Restra set (+8 set has +30% hit rate)


Jester's Wish list
+10 Restra/Rasra set (+10 set has +45% hit rate) - PvE
+10 Jesis/Jenes set (The whole set has a total of +35% HP, +30% Melee block, & 15% Range block) - PvP
2pcs Vigor +18
2pcs Demol +16
1pcs Arek +18 (optional, depends if the build is just base 15 dex)
Str and Adoch Awakes for Restra/Rasra set
Str and Move Speed Awakes for Jesis/Jenes Set.

When I was a starting, most of them tell me, "Why don't you use a bow?! It's much faster!"

Lol not totaly agree but for sure a Bj is a lot better than a Hop&Run Yj^^

If you want to be pro HOP YJ you should really test stuff out yourself and build ur stats with your armour
A pro YJ can Tank and 1 hit hop xD

Siege jesters actually do but they don't hit in run with HOP it all depends on ur play type

well siege is another thing x3 like hop or get asaled most of times XD

But in normal pvp pros YJ is deadly even without hop =3

As i told before a Pro YJ doesn't need hop just like a pro BP don't need asal. =3
